What is a maskable icon?

Android adaptive icons apply a shape mask (circle, squircle, teardrop, etc.) to your PWA icon. A maskable icon fills the entire 512×512 canvas so the system can crop it to any shape without leaving white bars. Keep all important content inside the inner 80% circle (the safe zone) to ensure it's always visible.
